The Photographers' Gallery - What haunts you?

This is an oldie but I still like it. Glad I participated.

The Photographers' Gallery, London collected nearly 4000 images by over 350 photographers in 2007 under the theme of What haunts you?

Artist Helen Marshall chose one photograph from all those sent in. With it she produced an interactive photo collage composed of 2500 of the images submitted. Click here to view the artwork:

Kelly

At 16 years of age Kelly, my friend's Kelpie/Collie, sadly passed away.

I had taken this portrait of Kelly a year before.

My friend ordered some greeting cards with the image of Kelly to send away to family and friends.

With each folded card I provided a paper insert, matching envelope and a protective sleeve.

I am sure the recipients will cherish the card and the memory of beautiful Kelly.

BirdLife Australia

Birds Australia and  Bird Observation & Conservation Australia (BOCA) are merging. The name of the new organisation is "BirdLife Australia". I have been a member of BOCA and its special interest group PhotoBOCA for several years. From today PotoBOCA is called "BirdLife Photographers" which means that I am now a proud BirdLife Photographer.

Below is one of my favourite bird images. It has appeared in "The Bird Observer" and been used by BOCA for educational purposes.
