National Reconciliation Week is celebrated across Australia each year between 27 May and 3 June.
"The dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey—the anniversaries of the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision." (Reconciliation Australia)
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2012 is 'Let's Talk Recognition'.
Whitehorse City Council in partnership with Reconciliation Victoria and Whitehorse Friends for Reconciliation presented a concert by the Kutcha Edwards Trio.
I attended this event on 1 June 2012 at Box Hill Community Arts Centre, Box Hill.
