Sherbrooke Forest Walk

SHERBROOKE FOREST is part of the Dandenong Ranges National Park east of Melbourne. It occupies the largest section of the Park.

For over a hundred years the beauty of the area has attracted visitors.

There are many walking tracks leading from picnic grounds in the forest.

I am fascinated by the eucalypts and their varied bark, the tree ferns and the birds.

Exhibition at RING CUBE Photo Gallery, Ginza, Tokyo

My Sherbrooke Forest photo will be exhibited as part of the prize-winning works of the 10th Ricoh Photo Contest at RING CUBE Tokyo from 17 to 28 November 2010.

I received news from Ricoh, Japan that they selected my entry (Sherbrooke Forest) into the 10th Ricoh Photo Contest for "Photo Style Award" out of 1244 entries.

My photo was also selected for the Ricoh Photo Calendar 2011.

The winners of the competition have been invited to attend the award-giving ceremony in Tokyo on 23 November 2010.

I am delighted about the news and so glad that I will be able to travel to Tokyo for the occasion.
