As volunteer photographer for
the Ferntree Gully News I have in the past attended the Knox Fire Brigades' Torchlight Parade. This event is held every two years and is hosted by the Ferntree Gully Fire Brigade. Visiting CFA Fire Brigades, the Knox SES and several pipe bands all take part.
This year the event was held on the 28th of February. I arrived at the Fire Station by 7pm just as the various groups were assembling.

Weather and circumstance prevented me from photographing the main action of the parade. Heavy rain, storm prevented the marchers from reaching their destination.
Back at the Ferntree Gully Fire Station for supper, drinks and yarn-swapping.
